The Discovery Box contains one cloth of each of the five TYGLY grades. Each grade is made from a different fabric and offers a distinct texture — from the softest touch to the most refined structure.

This is how you discover which grade your skin needs, and when.


What's included

  • 1 × Grade 2 face cloth — Soft 2-ply muslin. Gentle cleansing with light texture.

  • 1 × Grade 4 face cloth — Heavy etamine cotton. Refined texture for controlled exfoliation.
  • 1 × Grade 5 face cloth — Dobby-woven waffle. The most textured grade.

 

Why start here

Most face cloths are sold without structure. You choose based on a description or an image, not on a clear system.

TYGLY introduces grading. Five distinct textures, numbered for clarity. The Discovery Box shows you the full range so you understand where each grade sits and which one suits your skin at different times.

Once you know your grade, you restock what you use most. But the system only makes sense when you've felt all five.

 

How it works

Each cloth is designed for a specific texture experience:

Grade 1 — For delicate skin or mornings when your face feels sensitive. The lightest touch.

Grade 2 — A step up in grip. Gentle cleansing without roughness.

Grade 3 — The middle of the system. Comfortable texture for daily cleansing.

Grade 4 — More structure. Use when you want controlled exfoliation without harshness.

Grade 5 — The deepest texture. For when your skin needs more than gentle cleansing.

You may use one grade daily. You may rotate between two or three depending on how your skin feels. The Discovery Box gives you the range to decide.

 

After Discovery

Once you know which grade you reach for most, restock that grade in a five-pack. Many customers keep Grade 1 and Grade 4 in rotation — gentle for mornings, textured for evenings.

The graded system means you always have the right cloth for your skin, at the right time.

Machine washable. Standard face cloth dimensions. Manufactured in Turkey to TYGLY specifications.

Fabric composition

Each grade is made from a different textile to create a distinct texture:

  • Grade 1 — Bamboo-cotton blend
  • Grade 2 — Soft 2-ply cotton muslin
  • Grade 3 — Cotton muslin
  • Grade 4 — Heavy etamine cotton
  • Grade 5 — Dobby-woven waffle cotton

Made using GOTS-certified organic cotton and OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified fabrics.

Care instructions

Machine washable at 40°C. Tumble dry on low heat or air dry. Do not bleach. Do not iron.

The cloths soften with use and washing. Initial texture will settle after 2-3 washes.

Dimensions

Standard face cloth size. Each cloth measures approximately 25cm x 25cm.

Texture at different times

I always treated face cloths as interchangeable. Using different TYGLY grades made me notice how my skin reacts day-to-day. I now use a softer one in the morning and a slightly firmer one in the evening. It’s a small change but it’s stuck and I can feel the difference.

Great start and end to the day

Beautiful product and I found the right cloth for me.

I have been tryong out a Discovery Box for 4 weeks.The box has 5 cloths in it and they are graded from 1 (very soft) to 5 (rough). The box is beautiful and I will keep this for other things, and the cloths are elegant. They are natural as well which is a big thing for me and there are no microfibers or plastics. I have used all the cloths and it is easy to see and feel the differences between them. I found the grade 2 to be the best for me but that is just personal preference. My skin has some sun damage and I am in my 50s so I have to be gentle. I found grade 2 to be smooth with some bite and I like to warm it in the morning and place it on my face. It feels special. I then use this just with water to slowly cleanse and clean my face. They are hard wearing and well made and I will be ordering more grade 2 cloths to keep me stocked up and so I can wash them regularly.
