Grade 5 — Dobby-woven waffle. The most textured grade.
Grade 5 sits at the end of the TYGLY graded system. This is the grade with the deepest texture — designed for when your skin needs more than gentle cleansing.
The waffle weave creates a raised, grid-like surface. You feel the structure immediately. This is not a soft cloth. It's a working cloth.
What makes Grade 5 distinct
Dobby-woven waffle cotton has pronounced texture. The raised squares create friction across the entire surface. The cloth grips skin, lifts dead cells, and removes buildup that smoother grades leave behind.
Grade 5 works when you want your skin to feel reset. After exercise. When pores feel congested. When you need thorough exfoliation before a treatment or event.
When to use Grade 5
Use Grade 5 when your skin can handle texture. When it feels thick, oily, or dull. When you want the sensation of deep cleansing, not gentle care.
This grade suits oily and acne-prone skin types regularly, and normal skin types when exfoliation is intentional. It's too aggressive for sensitive or reactive skin.
Many customers use Grade 5 once or twice weekly and rotate to Grade 3 or Grade 4 for daily cleansing. The graded system gives you control over intensity.
Where Grade 5 sits
The TYGLY system runs from Grade 1 (softest) to Grade 5 (most textured). Grade 5 is the maximum.
